Pictures from GODs Own Country

Why they call it Kerala-
Because Chera's or Keras ruled it
or beacuse Kera - is Coconut tree, and alam is abode so Keralam is abode of coconut tree
Or it comes from Kera which is also slang for Kela which is again abundant in Kerala,
Or is it because Kera means Green leafy plant, which again matches with the greenery the place has.
The Place is Very beautiful, generously endowed with Natures beauty, with people as polite and as humble as any can be.
Keralites are bright color loving people, and have an entire range of heavenly tasting dishes in their cuisine, as tasty as, but much different from neighboring South Indian States.

It is not a surprise that it is known as God's Own Country.
